What inspired you to launch your own website?
We had been considering building a website for a while when the opportunity became available to us. Our intention in building a site was to be able to provide our customers (and potential customers) with increased knowledge about the services that we at PoolServiceLasVegas.com provide. Through implementation we have been able to reach out to potential customers that we never were able to reach before.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This is the first site that Pool Service of Las Vegas has launched.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We wanted a company that described perfectly who we were.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Our website is different, not in bells and whistles, but in the prompt response that we give to questions and requests submitted through the website.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our eventual goal is to build up the site until it is the #1 site provided by the major search engines under our immediate keywords.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
The initial investment of money has been rather small. we spend substancially less then $100/month and this investment of money pays off substantially for us every month. The big cost to PoolServiceLasVegas.com has come in time that we have spent promoting the site throughout the internet.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would hire a person to do all the SEO promotions that we are currently doing on our own. I would also consider pay-per-click adds on both Yahoo and Google.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Occasionally we receive more business then our technicians can handle. When this happens we simply contract the business out to licensed and networked professionals that can handle the work.
