Please give us a short summary of your website?

What inspired you to launch your own website?
I strongly believe in the power of the web. We took it a step further and have implemented an e-marketing newsletter every month to over 1200 contacts.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
In 1997 we first got it started and it is the same site as today with many improvements.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We abbreviated our company name to make it easier to type
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
First of all, not many local contractors have a website so that is different right there.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I would like to keep our brand awareness at a high level and this is a big part of our goal.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
The little time I spend on it has reaped big rewards
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would include pages so clinets can access info about their projects including photos and change orders.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I would have to pay for more web help
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Our newsletters have been the biggest driver of traffic to our site
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I am amazed at how complicated it can be at times
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I have run it for about 6 years
