What inspired you to launch your own website?
We enjoy wildlife and felt that we could help Mother Nature out when no one else would.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
2003
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We are fast, efficent, knowledgeable, and love animals. At "Speedy Animal Control We are there when you need us".
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We are Trained Licensed Professionals with years of Wildlife Trainning. We believe that there can be a balance between Animals and Humanes.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our Goal is to spread knowledge accross the nation.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Well its tuff to keep prices low. We strive to keep our overhead low and pass the savings onto our Customers. However even with the rising fuel prices, we still strive to keep our prices lower then our competitors.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would have a Professional Develope my site instead of Myself.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I believe that size doesn’t really matter. If your Company doesn’t put Quality first, or if it doesn’t have high standards, then they shouldn’t be in business. I feel that through excellent hands on training and a knowledgeable staff, that we can tackle any project.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Mainly licensing, billing and health insurance.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Spread the knowledge that has been passed onto to me by my mentor. The second is finding good help who actually love animals as much as we do.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
I would have to say me adjusting my tags, and submitting my sites to the proper search engines.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I never knew how many hours would be spent fine tunning it.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
